2. Purpose of this website
This website only provides a digital menu. Guests can view food, drinks, prices, allergens, opening hours, location and contact information.
A separate allergen list is available here: https://laguayabitabeach.es/en/allergens
No orders, reservations, payments or guest accounts are offered via this website.
3. Access data and hosting
When the website is accessed, technically necessary access data is processed, for example IP address, date and time of access, URL accessed, browser/device information and technical error or security logs.
The processing takes place in order to deliver the website, to operate it stably and to protect it from misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and functional operation).
The Next.js application runs as a hosting and execution environment at Vercel Inc. (USA), where the access data and runtime protocols mentioned are generated.
Public menu, setting, allergen and media information (including image URLs from the object memory) as well as any legal texts stored in the database are retrieved on the server side from a database managed by Supabase and delivered to the browser in HTML - not through separate direct database access in the guest's browser.
4. Local storage in the browser
The menu can store technically necessary or convenience-related information locally in the browser, for example whether a note has already been displayed, whether the page can be saved as an app or when a rating note was last hidden.
This local storage is not used for advertising purposes and does not create a guest profile. You can delete locally stored data at any time via the browser settings.
5. External links and Google reviews
The menu may contain links to external services, for example Google Reviews, Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, Threads or WhatsApp. When clicking on these links, the data protection information of the respective provider applies.
Where Google ratings are displayed, the website uses a snapshot from the Google Places API stored on the server. Guests do not need to fill out a form or submit a reservation or order.
6. Storage duration
Technical log data is only stored for as long as is necessary for operation, security, error analysis and legal obligations. Specific time limits may result from the settings and guidelines of the service providers used.
Local browser data remains stored on your device until it is automatically overwritten or deleted by you.
7. Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the right to information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interests.
